Saturday, May 9, 11:00-11:40am & 12:00-1pm: Tiddlywinks OC is hosting a fun Mother’s Day event designed for the kids. In their “Chocolates for Mom” class, the art students will learn how to color, form, and texturize clay (we’re guessing so that it mimics chocolate!). Chocolate shaped clay will last a lot longer than the actual thing. What a great gift for Mom that will last her for years to come. There’s a $10 fee, but in return you get a great class and a $5 gift certificate to the store! Call (714)997-8697 to reserve a spot for your little ones.
Our friends over at The Potting Shed by Carlisle are doing something very fun and very sweet for OTO moms. They’ve created 6 beautiful potted succulents and are placing them in secret locations around the Orange Plaza. That means that 6 lucky moms will score a free, small succulent garden on Mother’s Day! So here’s an idea: get the kids involved by sending them out on a little scavenger hunt for a potted present. Help them help Mom! Don’t forget to post pics when you spot your succulent!
