Come celebrate with them this weekend as they introduce their official “Home Cook” for the market, local resident and food enthusiast, Lisa Gilmore! Lisa’s first cooking demo with take place on Saturday at 10am. Also exciting: cherries and red apricots are now in season and will be available this Saturday at the market! The market is located at the corner of Cypress and Palm, and will take place rain or shine!

Saturday, May 9, 10am: Want to learn more about our beautiful and historic Old Towne Orange? All you have to do is take a walk…with the Orange Community Historical Society that is. Check out their Walking Tour this Saturday at 10am. Groups meet at the fountain at the Orange Public Library, then proceed on a 90-120 minute walk around Old Towne. Get the details and tickets HERE. Saturday, May 9, 10am-3pm: You’re invited to a special book signing at Affaire de Coeur. Meet Christopher Lentz, author of the new romance novel “Blossom.” You’ll learn more about this upcoming romance novel and get your copy signed by the author himself.

Join The Dragonfly Studios in the heart of Old Towne Orange as they guide you through the process of creating unique & clever handmade art, suitable for decorating your home or as a gift for someone special.

Saturday, May 9, 12-4pm: The Orange High School Agriculture Department invites you to join them for “Farm Fest.”  This family-friendly event encourages kids and their families to explore the world of agriculture with a petting zoo, games, demo’s, food, prizes, and of course tons of animals will be in attendance as well! Cows, sheep, pigs, and more! Admission is $3. Call (714) 997-6299 for details.

sunspark yoga logo 300x300 OTO Events May 9   15Saturday, May 9, 1-4pm: Join Philip and Elizabeth at SunSpark Yoga as they share their favorite yoga hands-on adjustments and assists in a Partnering Yoga Workshop. Partner Yoga is an exhilarating and challenging practice. This fully sequenced yoga class from Tadasana to Savasana is appropriate for all levels, though experience with yoga will be helpful. Come by yourself or bring friends! Cost: $25 in advance or $30 on the day of workshop. Call (714) 202-5095 to reserve your spot!

Saturday, May 9, 2-3pm: Want help on how to improve those vacation photos? Your vacation photos are the souvenirs you’ll keep for a lifetime, and Jon C. Haverstick can show you how to make them truly beautiful and worth showing off! Stop by the Orange Public Library for this free workshop in the Community Room!

Tuesday, May 12, 7:30pm: Come check out Chapman University’s Student Piano Showcase in the Salmon Recital Hall. Admission is free, and it’s a great way to hear some incredible music performed by very talented students. The student pianists will perform a program of works from the mid-1700s to the present. The program includes students of Grace Fong, Janice Park, Karen Knecht, and Louise Thomas. Wednesday, May 13, 7:30pm: Similar to the Student Piano Showcase, Chapman University presents Student Pianists in Recital. Admission to this event is also free, and the program includes students of Ron Anderson, Christopher Brennan, Ruby Cheng, Karen Knecht, Hedy Lee, Janice Park, and Louise Thomas. This event also takes place in the Salmon Recital Hall. Details are HERE.
